Summer Camps

Session 1 - 8a.m.-10a.m.

• Groove & Move: Dance Party Camp: 3rd- 5th Graders

Join the Dance Team Camp! Calling all dancers in 3rd to 8th grade - get ready for a week of fun, learning, and awesome moves! Whether you’re new to dance or have experience. This camp is the perfect place to build skills, make friends, and boost confidence on the dance floor. What You’ll Do: - Learn fun routines - Improve technique - Play games & do team bonding activities. No matter your skill level, this camp is all about having fun and growing as a dancer!

• Mini Olympics: The Ultimate Fun Games: 3rd-5th Graders

The goal of the Mini Olympic Camp is to encourage physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship while offering participants a memorable and educational experience. By engaging in various sports and Olympic-themed events, participants will not only improve their athletic skills but also gain a deeper understanding of the global impact and traditions of the Olympics.

• Sweet Art Summer Creations: 3rd - 5th Graders

Join Mercy’s deliciously creative summer art camp! In this sweet art camp, young artists will paint and sculpt to design dazzling dessert-inspired masterpieces—all without the sugar rush! Wear clothes that can get messy and sprinkle some fun into your summer with this hands-on art camp. Limited to 14 campers.

• Pollinator: The Gardening Adventure Camp

Get ready for a buzzing good time at camp! We'll explore the amazing world of pollinators, learn how to create a garden that welcomes them, and even start seeds to grow your very own pollinator paradise at home! You’ll design a garden map, discover the plants that pollinators love, and meet the insects that make them thrive. Whether we’re inside or outside, expect lots of fun (and maybe a little mess), so wear your favorite clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty!

• Center Stage: Theatrical Adventures Camp: 6th-8th Graders

Learn how to be a Mercy girl actor! This camp is perfect for kids who love drama games, acting, stagecraft, and/or working with new friends. Each day, campers will explore different styles and types of acting and theater, such as improv, 2/3/4 person scenes, and of course, lots of fun drama games rooted in professional theater. Activities and games are taken from a Mercy girl's first week in theater class.

• Live the Mercy Mission: Making a Difference Camp: 6th-8th Graders

You are invited to start your journey as a young woman who embodies faith, knowledge and compassionate service. Be part of something meaningful and learn how you can make an impact by living out the mission of the Sisters of Mercy—helping the poor, sick, and uneducated. Join us for an inspiring experience and Live the Mercy Mission, a camp where young girls can make a real difference by taking part in daily volunteer projects that serve our community's needs. You'll meet new friends, have fun, and discover the joy of giving back while learning why service is at the heart of what we do.

Session 2 - from 10:30a.m.-12:30p.m.

• Passport Camp: Around the World (Cultures): 3rd-5th Graders

Travel the world without leaving Omaha!  This camp is geared for your adventurous 3rd – 5th graders.  Each day at camp, the girls will learn about a different part of the world.  They will immerse themselves in another culture and through fun interactive activities, they will explore the highlights of each place.  There will be song, dance, art activities, literature, snacks, and much more.  Your daughter will leave with a better sense of the beauty of her neighbors across the globe.

• STEM Explorers: Innovate, Create, Discover Camp: 3rd-5th Graders

This summer, curiosity takes the lead! At Mercy's STEM camp, students will dive into a world of exploration, creativity and hands-on STEM fun! Whether they are building aqueducts, bubbling potions, safe cages for egg drops or racing self-made cars, young explorers will embark on an exciting journey through science, technology, engineering and math!

• Mindful Monarchs: A Camp for Health & Wellness: 3rd- 5th Graders

Join us for a fun and empowering 5-day summer camp for 3rd-5th grade girls, focused on mindfulness, yoga, health, and wellness! Each morning will be filled with movement, creative activities, and relaxation techniques to help build confidence, reduce stress, and cultivate a healthy mind and body.

• Playground Heroes: Ultimate PE Games Camp: 6th-8th Graders

PE Summer Camp focuses on promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits. The camp includes a variety of sports, games, and fitness activities designed to improve athletic skills, encourage teamwork, and build confidence in participants.

Welcome to Sparkle and Shine DIY Spa Camp, the ultimate relaxation retreat for kids! Over the course of one fun-filled week, campers will indulge in creative spa-inspired activities, including DIY beauty treatments, yoga, and craft projects. Whether you're designing your own spa or relaxing with a rejuvenating face mask, this camp is all about creativity, self-care, and a whole lot of fun.

Session 3 - from 1p.m.-3p.m.

• Hero Academy: Super Hero Training Camp: 3rd-5th Graders

Discover your inner superhero, develop your skills, and challenge each other. Participants will design a superhero logo, do fun training exercises to hone their skills, and compete in challenges.

• Show Choir Camp:  5th-8th Graders 1:00-4:00pm

Spend a week with the AWARD WINNING Mercy High Treblemakers! Throughout the week, we will sing, dance, play games, and of course.. EAT SNACKS! Get ready to unleash your inner superstar at Show Choir Camp. Throughout the week, we’re bringing the sparkle, the shine, and all the high-energy fun as we team up with the talented Mercy High Treblemakers! You’ll learn an exciting show, sing your heart out, and dance like nobody's watching! But that's not all—expect loads of fun games, tasty snacks, and plenty of moments to make new friends and memories. Whether you're a singing sensation or just love to perform, Show Choir Camp is all about having fun, working as a team, and discovering your inner diva. So, grab your mic, put on your best moves, and get ready for a week filled with music, laughter, and tons of creative energy! By the end of the week, you will perform a mini show on Mercy's stage!
